Mammoth Cave Niagara Falls Tour
with Sugar Grove Church of Christ

We left at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10.

We met 25 youth and church members from Sugar Grove Church of Christ at approximately 9:00 a.m.

We took the scenic tour from Sugar Grove to the Mammoth Cave National Park Tourist Center and saw a few turkeys along the way.

Our driver and her accomplice, I mean co-pilot.
I wonder if they are on the Van insurance? ;)

What's a trip without a snow ball fight?

We are getting our 32 reserved tickets.

Before our tour, we took a group shot just in case we didn't all come back! ;)

Loading up the bus.

Our tour guide is providing us with history and safety tips before we enter the Niagara Falls Tour.

The cave entrance is in a sinkhole, so down we go.

The Niagra Tour has some really cool stairs that allow us to easily navigate this nearly impossible entrance.  Without the stairs, it would take hours just to get to the bottom of this section.

After reaching the bottom, we took a short break while the guide detailed the history of the cave and answered questions.

The lights also go out...so watch out who you're sitting beside!

We're headed down to take a look at the Drapery Room.
Ashley & Josh and John & Megan pause for a quick shot.

Anyone thought of modeling in a cave?
Yes, John thought about it! ;)

After we left Mammoth Cave, we headed South to Bowling Green.  While getting on the Interstate, there was a pothole (aka sinkhole) that one of the driver's couldn't avoid and caused his tire and rim to become damaged.  Thankfully he was with others that could help out!

While in Bowling Green, we traded the church van for a new, "slightly" more sportier "van" as you can see...
(we were all so proud until the elders told us to take it back!)

Chilling out with some food and good company at the mall in Bowling Green.  It's time to shop til' we drop!

Thanks to John's creative photography, even the toll booth workers get in the picture!

Home Sweet Home!
