HillSongs Music Festival 2004!

We had 14 participants go to HillSongs Music Festival 2004 to see Lo Azab, Poor Man's Riches, Formerly Blind, and Ten Shekel Shirt.

Highlights Include:

  • What a beautiful day!  When we first arrived it was a little warm, but a little cloud cover had us in some great temperatures!  Most of us got a little sun, which was a good thing.
  • Our trip in the van there and back was relaxed and fun.  It's only 14 miles down 231, so we were there in no time.
  • It's great to be in an atmosphere full of Christians!  This is an event that lays the foundation that shows regardless of denomination, we can all come together and enjoy a fun day with our fellow Christian friends.

A little football action before we leave...

Apparently this football deserves a closer look...It certainly got some good play time at breaks during HillSongs Music Festival.

We arrive early so that we have a close location.

That's us on the right...

The HillSongs Music Festival Living Faith stage...

Lo Azab cranking out some Christian tunes.

See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.  Practice makes perfect (plus a third person!).

Mr. Photogenic.

Poor Man's Riches...

Chilling out on the hillside...

Everyone is up, maybe it's supper time?  Our choices for supper included hamburgers, hotdogs, chili, walking tacos, carmel apples, and much more.

Blake quickly learns that Brooke enjoys throwing him around.  Run dude run!  Too late!

Debra helping Kevin back up...

The day I take over the world, I plan to have a big party with lots of cake and ice cream!

Remember poor ol' Blake a few pictures above?
Well, it was time for Blake to win!  Go Blake go!  Please keep in mind when you are praying, that I need all the help I can get as you can see in this pic! ;)

Ben enjoying his book...

Formerly Blind...

HillSongs Music Festival was held on September 11, 2004.  Three years ago, on this same date, terrorists destroyed the World Trade Center buildings.  During HillSongs, we took a few moments to remember those lost and those that helped during this tragic event.  They had special music, a special event, and fireworks...

Ten Shekel Shirt...

Paul, Brooke, and Rachelle at the "mosh pit."

Our gracious host for the evening, Steve Kibbons.

After a fun day, it's always nice to return home safe and sound.

Thanks everyone for a fun HillSongs Music Festival 2004!

Thanks Jonathan for taking the pics!
